Small Business Week winners announced | Business

The Much better Business enterprise Bureau of Southern Colorado and the Pikes Peak Tiny Enterprise Progress Middle declared the winners of the Modest Business Week Awards for the duration of a celebration Saturday at Crimson Leg Brewing Co.

The award ceremony was held to “rejoice and winner” little, nearby small business supported by the Greater Enterprise Bureau of Southern Colorado with 20 or less workers and Pikes Peak Tiny Enterprise Growth Heart-supported firms with 35 or much less workforce.

• Smaller Company Champion of the Year — Joe Aldaz, Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

• Younger Entrepreneur of the Year — Bobby Mikulas, Kinship Landing. Mikulas is CEO and co-founder of the boutique hotel that opened last year in downtown Colorado Springs.

• Veteran Smaller Company Operator of the Year — David Thompson, Winds of Transform Transforming Inc. Thompson released the organization in 2001 after a job in the armed service, in accordance to the firm’s web page.

• Family-Owned Small Enterprise of the Year — Bob Penkhus Motor Co.
