How to contact third-party sellers on Amazon?

Amazon to deliver third-party sellers with users' data – Inside Telecom

Something happens after you place an order on Amazon through a third-party merchant. Maybe you got the wrong size dog sweater, or perhaps you just noticed it doesn’t have the right kind of closure, and you’re hoping they can make a custom version that fits your pet better. Perhaps you’re dealing with a problem that has nothing to do with a dog. That’s fine as well. It’s preferable to contact the seller in these cases. How to get in touch with an Amazon third-party seller

If your item were qualified for Amazon Prime, all issues would be handled by Amazon customer support. Otherwise, here’s a complete list of how to contact us:

1. Go to your account and log in.

2. In the upper right corner of the screen, select “orders.”

3. Copy the product name or ASIN/ISBN from the order you want to contact the vendor. It’ll come in handy later.

4. Look for “sold by X” under the item’s name. Select the seller’s name from the drop-down menu. You can also review the vendor’s return and refund policies from this area.

5. In the upper right corner of the screen, click the yellow “ask a question” box. This will open a new tab in your browser.

6. After that, you’ll be asked to fill out two drop-down menus:

I need help with either an order you placed or a product I’m selling. Your most recent order will appear on the screen when you select “an order I placed,” but you may also choose a different one by choosing “choose a different order.” You can track your parcel, return the items, or continue the seller contact process from this page. (Please note that this will alter your options for the next drop-down, so it’s critical to complete these in the correct order.)

Choose a topic for your issue. “Where is my stuff?” is one of these alternatives. Among the options are “Cancel order,” “Received wrong item,” and “Other question.”

7. Select “Write message” from the drop-down menu.

8. In the above field, type your message (including the product name or ASIN/ISBN). As Amazon points out:

“Please do not include links, email addresses, credit card numbers, or other personal information in your letter for security reasons. This information may be automatically removed from your message.”

9. Select “Send email” from the drop-down menu.

Amazon replaces your email address with an auto-generated one when you communicate this way, similar to how Craigslist secures its users’ email addresses. Customers are asked to let the vendor two business days to respond, although Amazon claims that most sellers respond far sooner. You can go to your account (under “Accounts and Lists”) and select the “Message Center” option if you ever need to refer back to your communications with the seller. You’ll be able to respond here as well.

Know about different alternative

If the third-party vendor also handles shipment, you have another option for contacting them:

  • Please sign in to your account.
  • In the top right corner of the screen, click on “orders.”
  • Locate your order and select “order assistance.”
  • Amazon will process your issue and, if necessary, assist you in contacting the seller after you have provided all of the essential information.
